So all said and done here the specifications of the new S20, S20 + and S20 Ultra, as well as the other possible features.
Specifications of the new Samsung Galaxy S20, S20 + and S20 Ultra
In terms of hardware, the Samsung Galaxy S20 series can be summed up with one word – Best. All the phones in the series will best of everything: the best SoC so far, the best memory capacity, storage and the best and improved battery with more battery life among others.
All the phones in the Galaxy S20 series will be similar in many aspects, but they have their specific Specifications. Each of them will have a different version for the global market, which will be equipped with the SoC Exynos 990. While the US market version will get the Snapdragon 865.
Another feature which differentiates them is that the battery capacity will increase as we move to the advanced version. Thus, the same will also happen with the camera configuration, with the S20 Ultra being the best camera phone in the series.

Having shown the possible specifications of the Samsung Galaxy S20 series, we also want to reflect on the things that we think the phone will bring with it.
Galaxy S20 Design
All the versions of the Samsung Galaxy S20 series are expected to sport the design that the Galaxy Note 10 had. The phones will come with Dynamic AMOLED display with Infinity O pattern (which is Samsung’s in house word for Punch hole display) placed in the center under which the selfie camera will be housed.
The most eye-catching difference between the three variants will be the placement of the rear cameras. All the phones will obviously come with a huge rectangle-shaped bump that will house cameras and the LED flash, but the size will be more or less depending on the number of sensors.
The Samsung Galaxy S20 series is expected to have a bigger screen than the Galaxy S10 series. The normal Samsung Galaxy S20 will have a 6.2- inch AMOLED panel, the S20 + will sport a 6.7- inch display, and the S20 Ultra will have the biggest screen of 6.9-inches. The most important upgrade though will be the display refresh rate standard, going up from 60 Hz to 120 Hz.
Cameras will be a differentiating feature
The cameras are expected to be the great differentiating point for each of the phones from the Samsung Galaxy S20 series. The S20 and S20 + are likely to equip improved 12MP and 1.8 micron main sensors, while the S20 Ultra would be equipped with the 108 MP ISOCELL Bright HMX sensor, the same used in the Xiaomi Mi Note 10.
We could also expect cameras with very variable apertures between each version, and the inclusion of one or more flight time (ToF) sensors to improve depth perception, higher levels of optical zoom, and some differences in post-processing software.
Specifically, the S20 would be configured with a 12 MP main camera, a telephoto and an ultra-wide-angle sensor. The Galaxy 20+ would have this same camera configuration, adding a ToF sensor to the list. Finally, the S20 Ultra would be equipped with the best camera lens, as it would have a 108 MP main sensor, a 48 MP telephoto lens with 5X or 10X optical zoom, ultra-wide-angle and two ToF sensors.
5G variant will subject to the availability in certain regions
Finally, another notable difference in the S20 series is not defined by the version, but by the processor that includes each one. 5G support is expected only for the phones in the United States and some parts of Asia, which are equipped with the SD865.
Meanwhile, all the other international models, which will work with the Exynos 990, would remain in the 4G LTE network. This is because the Exynos 990 does not have 5G compatibility, and will depend on whether Samsung decides to include the Exynos 5123 modem.
Price and Availability
The Galaxy S20 family should make their debut at the Samsung Unpacked on February 11, along with the Galaxy Z Flip, and a new and upgraded Samsung Galaxy Buds. The price for the Galaxy S20 series is estimated at around 55 USD more than the launch price of its predecessor, the Galaxy S10.
Thus the expected price for the phones may be –
- Galaxy S20 to be around 855 USD/ 59,160 INR / 750 Euro
- Galaxy S20 + around 1180 USD/ 83,000 INR /1050 Euro
- Galaxy S20 Ultra to be around 1340 USD/ 95,000 INR / 1200 Euro.
All these prices are purely based on an estimate on what has been seen in the phones launched by Samsung in the past. It will no way be the exact price that Samsung sets for the Samsung Galaxy s20 series so, for now, we just have to wait, and see what Samsung does with the pricing and what features the actual phone will come with. Mark February 11 already in your calendar to witness the exclusive cover of the launch event we will bring for you.
