While we had the news about the Redmi smart TV to be launched soon along with the Redmi Note 8 Pro and coming from the CEO of Redmi, this information was almost certain, and now it has been 100% confirmed.
And it is officially announced that both Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro will be launched on August 29.
Xiaomi is all geared up for the new Note series
With everything almost ready, we are going to see the successor of the Redmi Note 7 Pro and will have the 64-megapixel sensor from Samsung. And seeing that Realme finally decided not to introduce its Realme XT with 64 MP yet, this phone could become the first to mount it.
So, unless there is a last-minute surprise, it seems that Xiaomi has everything ready for the first smartphone with Isocell GWQ Bright 64 megapixel sensor.
Redmi Note 8 series: final design
The image that confirms the date of presentation of this new phone, which has two variants, of course, lets us take a look at those cameras, as well as at the back of it.
The design is somewhat similar to those of the Redmi 8 that have recently been leaked. It can be seen that there are three of the lenses and the fingerprint reader, while to the right of it there is an additional lens (ToF) and the flash.
What we know so far?
So far, we know that there will be two models: Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro. The higher end variant of these models, the Note 8 Pro, of course, will be the one to mount the four cameras and the 64 megapixels.
Meanwhile, the Note 8 version could have a more modest configuration than the Pro version, because the small print of the image already indicates that the 64 MP corresponds to the upper model. They will also hit the market with the new MediaTek processor, the Helio G90.
