Xiaomi will launch its Mi Band 4 at an event in China on June 11. With a post on the Weibo social network, the manufacturer Mijia confirmed that there will finally be a color display and promises better battery life than Mi Band 3.
There are greater expectations for the new fitness tracker of the Chinese company, which has always stood out for an incredible quality/price ratio. We have to wait till June 11 to find out whether the new band from Xiaomi will be able to deliver the promise, but in the meantime, we can admire it in the first official image.
Color OLED Display And New Features
The teaser does not reveal much about it again but it confirms that the Mi Band 4 will sport a color OLED display. New features are also expected, including improved notification handling and the ability to control music.
The Mi Band 4 should be a little bigger, also because the display will be much more generous than that of the Mi Band 3 (40% more).
Mi Band 4 Price And Availability
Following the tradition, the new smart band should be characterized by an aggressive price as shown also by the post on Weibo.
According to reports, the price may be 200 yuan (Rs.2000 approx) for the base model and for the version with NFC support the price may be around 500 yuan (Rs.5000 approx). We just have to wait a few more days to know with certainty all the technical details of Mi Band 4.
Take this information with a pinch of salt as they have not yet been officially confirmed, although rumors have long suggested this to be a reality as well more often than not.
Talking about the India launch there is no word as of now but we expect the Mi Band 4 to hit the Indian Market very soon. Xiaomi recently announced that it has sold over a million pieces of the Mi Band 3 and the company will want the latest fitness tracker to be made available in the Indian market ASAP. Currently, The Mi Band 3 is priced Rs 1,999 in India and it is expected that the latest band to be at par in the pricing department.
